His postdoom.com remains an exceptionally valuable resource for those struggling to make sense in our times, and it remains a deep honour that my first conversation with the man opened the site.

22 years ago today I gave up flying, and the cognitive dissonance that came with knowing its consequences.
I highly recommend it — as discussed with the late #MichaelDowd when launching his wonderful #PostDoom.com, it's made me happier ever since!

I'm stunned to learn of the sudden death of the wonderful #MichaelDowd.
We spoke briefly on Saturday while he was in NY following the death of his father. Apparently he himself died that night...
His last words to me seem fitting to his life:
"Grace abounds!"
