💪 Matt Wallace (66-65) continues his assault on weak fields. He entered the week gaining 1.58/rd (1st) and had notched five wins against below average field strengths.

📈 Jake Knapp fired an 64 (7-under) and has now gained 23.28 strokes total in his last 10 rounds.

💪Cameron Champ got off to a hot start, playing his first nine holes in 30 (-6) and gaining 5.7 strokes of the field. He played his second nine in 36 (+1), losing 1.2 strokes to the field.

It was still his best round (+4.55) of 2024. He has now gained 2+ strokes to the field in 7/9 rounds at Vidanta Vallarta.

💦 Only one disaster for Tony Finau in his 69 (2-under). He had zero bogeys but made a double on no. 8 after driving it into the water. His only blemish.

He gained strokes putting on half the holes and was +0.876 for the day.

🌴 Erik van Rooyen rode two eagles to a 63 (8-under). He's now gained at least 3 strokes to the field in 6 of his last 8 rounds played in Mexico.

🏆 There are currently 21 golfers inside the Top 15. They combine for 8 PGA TOUR wins from 5 different players.
