It hit me today. Listening to "Esek Bish" (Bad Business/A Mishap), suddenly the old codes unlocked.
Meir Ariel wasn't just singing about a skirmish in Jerusalem in β€˜67. He was painting the eternal clash of foreign ghosts on local soil.
