ernie: so you know how the lotus sutra is really really important and anyone who shares it is doing something wonderful and brave?

bert: yes ernie

ernie: well in chapter 26 all these bodhisattvas and goddesses and even the rakshasis show up and they go "we want to PROTECT those people" and they each give a special gift

bert: what kind of gift

ernie: magic words, bert!!

bert: ernie those are dharanis. they are sacred protective incantations that-

ernie: magic words, bert. and you know what's so great about it? even the rakshasis. the scary demon ladies. they came too. they said "we want to guard the dharma teachers"

bert: hmm

ernie: it's like. anyone who touches the lotus sutra with real love, the whole universe just shows up. to stand around them

bert: 🫤

ernie: you're making the face but i saw you write down "anye manye mane mamane" on a napkin last week

So there’s this Booda feller, Avalowhatsis, an he gives ya what’cha need. An all ya gotta do is ask?

Sounds sketch as heck. What’s in it for Avvy?
