Readers should note that one Detective in this case managed to order body removal for one victim from a hospital to the Cook County Morgue before Forensic Services could process the body.

This was Detective Adafarah of Chicago's Area-5.

Chicago Police Investigating Early Morning Mass Homicide on The City's NW Side

The Chicago Police Dept was alerted by way of a 911 call of a person shot shortly after 2:30AM this morning.

I have the details of the initial response and initial investigation. This is an active, ongoing investigation. Information is subject to change as the investigation progresses.

#MassShootings For as long as I remember, some ppl get depressed around this time of year. It used to be, there was an increase in #suicide. Now it's #homicide. #MassHomicide. Maybe we have too many guns, too easy to get by anyone with too many mental issues. I live in TX and grew up with hunting rifles but they were for hunting deer, to eat. No thoughts of killing innocent people out shopping or at a club, parade, movies.
I hate guns.
