On the Maspalomas Dunes we rode camels and took part in a caravan for the first time.

The caravan trips out on the dunes were popular and we met another caravan as we were on our way back.

To everyone who is on vacation on #GranCanaria - when visiting the #MaspalomasDunes please stay on the designated hiking trails.

It's not only a criminal offense to leave these trails, but also disrespectful to nature. The dunes are a monument and also vital for coastal protection.

Stumbling around in the dunes destroys the fragile plants which secure the sand, leading to erosion.

Please, protect the dunes and stay on the trails.
