Dog hugs! This great Akita pup two corners away is one of the two dogs than can return (enjoy, appreciate) Maron's enthusiasm. It would be great to see these two in a dog run or someplace they could be off the lead. It's a lot of work to keep their leads from tangling. This morning Maron got Mana's leg wrapped in our leash and we ended up pulling the leg out from under her and the poor little bear was down on the pavement for a bit. It didn't seem to bother anyone but still. You'd think Maron would be nervous you can barely see her under Mana but it's not a smothering sort of thing, it's all joyous, vivacious romping.

I have to remember to put the tough little digital camera into sports setting to get pictures of these two, Maron and Mana, in action the next time.
