#RichardTrugden in #WhyWarriorsLieDownAndDie presented a history of #EastArhmenland #Yolngu #Aboriginals interacting closely with #PearlingLuggers from #Japan. In this history repeated abuses of the locals lead to violent responses and luggers being burnt in the mangroves.
This was very different to what this history said about the interactions of the locals with traders from the #Malaccas.
