Titi completed her Bachelors and Masters studies at Capital Normal University in China and received her PhD in German Studies from Michigan State University in 2024. While at MSU, she was awarded the University's top teaching award, the Excellence-in-Teaching Citation, in 2022 and received the Digital Humanities Graduate Certificate in Spring 2024.
