#MDAnalysis is re-licensing to LGPL. I have contributed some trivial patches 7 years ago, and I received an email yesterday, asking my consent to re-license my code.

I assume this is a good way for re-licensing. Respecting all contributors' work, no matter big or small. Much better than forcing new contributors to sign CLAs
