10 Fantasy K-Dramas To Embrace Magic On K-Drama Day
Wow. They showed the ultimate beauty of #KimYooJung #김유정 in E12 of #MyDemon #마이데몬 (2023). Especially during her dance routines.
The quality of the hanbok they made her wear were also of high quality and design.
She's so different here than her role in #LoversOfTheRedSky #홍천기 (2021).
Or, did she grow to be even more attractive? She's only 24, looks like we now know who we will see more this year and in the next 10 years.
(She became a child actress when she was 4 years old.)
He was great! So was Kwak Shi Yang (as well at the main leads). The acting was good. I think they all fell victim to a somewhat weak story (for me).
Sorry about that! I felt it was worth watching once - but I might have fast forwarded during eps 13 & 14 a bit if I had known.
It does have an 8.2 rating on My Drama List - so many people loved it.

Lovers of the Red Sky
(2021 - Viki, 16 1:10 eps)
An historical fantasy series about a divine painter, who has to save the world. It was interesting to learn about painting techniques. The special FX added to mystical feeling, bringing the supernatural gods & goblins to life. The cinematography was beautiful. The acting was good, except that the FL character was too flat for me - she spent much time crying. The romance was sweet - the leads did win a “Best Couple” award.
It's filled with kDrama tropes & the story seems too convenient - a blind astrologer who can ride a horse & fight? The 1st few episodes are great, by eps 13 things are dragging. The last eps wraps most things up, but leaves somethings unresolved.
