Denise GThe Platte River stretches the length of #Nebraska from west to east. The North Platte area is in western Nebraska, while the Chapman to Overton stretch of the river is in south central Nebraska.
Incredibly large numbers of #sandhillcranes stop along the #PlatteRiver at this time of year on their journey north. It is breathtaking to see so many of these magnificent #birds and hear their call.
