Il Tempo: Poste Italiane, logistica da record nei primi 3 mesi: consegnati 89 mln pacchi (+14,6%)

Roma, 4 giu. (Adnkronos) - Il 2026 si apre con un nuovo primato della logistica di Poste Italiane, che da gennaio a marzo ha consegnato la cifra record di 89 milioni di pacchi, facendo segnare una crescita a doppia cifra, +14,6%, rispetto allo stesso periodo del 2025. E continua ad aumentare a ritmo sostenuto anche il numero delle consegne effettuate dai portalettere di Poste Italiane: ben 38 milioni, in aumento del 21,9% rispetto allo scorso anno, confermando una strategia precisa. Un dato in costante crescita, quindi, quello delle consegne dei portalettere, in linea con quanto previsto dal piano strategico “The connecting platform”, che entro il 2028 dovrebbero raggiungere i due terzi del volume totale, anche grazie all'introduzione della nuova rete corriere a gestione diretta. Portalettere, dunque, sempre più centrali nella logistica di Poste Italiane legata all'ecommerce, secondo una strategia sempre più green costruita su una flotta di 30 mila i veicoli a basse emissioni, 6200 dei quali full green. E nell'ottica di avere consegne sempre più sostenibili, prosegue anche lo sviluppo del progetto Green Delivery, che offre ai clienti una gran varietà di punti di ritiro: la rete dei circa 12700 uffici postali a cui si aggiungono i circa 20 mila punti, tra Rete Punto Poste e Locker, offre una nuova soluzione flessibile che, accentrando la consegna, permette una consistente riduzione delle emissioni di Co2. Una soluzione, questa, che gode del doppio vantaggio di rispondere alla domanda di consegne flessibili e alle esigenze di tutela dell'ambiente.

The number of deliveries made by Poste Italiane’s parcel carriers is also continuing to increase at a sustained pace: a remarkable 38 million, up 21.9% compared to last year, confirming a precise strategy. Therefore, the figure for parcel carrier deliveries, which is constantly growing, is in line with what was foreseen in the strategic plan “The connecting platform”, which by 2028 should account for two-thirds of the total volume, also thanks to the introduction of the new direct-managed courier network. Parcel carriers are therefore becoming increasingly central to Poste Italiane’s logistics linked to e-commerce, according to a strategy that is increasingly green, built on a fleet of 30,000 low-emission vehicles, 6,200 of which are fully green. And in the effort to achieve increasingly sustainable deliveries, the development of the Green Delivery project is also continuing, which offers customers a wide variety of pick-up points: the network of approximately 12,700 post offices is supplemented by approximately 20,000 points, between Rete Punto Poste and Locker, offering a new flexible solution that, by centralizing delivery, allows for a significant reduction in CO2 emissions. This solution benefits from the double advantage of responding to the demand for flexible deliveries and the need to protect the environment.
