RSVP for NYC Union Library Worker Picnic

Join ALA President Emily Drabinski and library union members from across NYC for an informal gathering in Central Park. Build solidarity with fellow union members, learn about ongoing struggles within our unions, and enjoy time outside with friends. Bring a blanket and snacks! RSVP below. When: August 13th, 2023 @ 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Where: Sheep Meadow, Central Park Closest Subway: 1 to 66th Street, Lincoln Center (accessible station) We will meet in Sheep Meadow, near Tavern on the Green and the Sheep Meadow Drinking Fountain. Best way to enter Sheep Meadow is from 67th Street and Central Park West (click here for Google Map with pin). Walk to the end of Warner Leroy Place, cross into Sheep Meadow and turn right towards Tavern on the Green. We'll be in that area and will share a contact number with anyone who RSVPs for the day of!
