Sorry about the *wind* noise, just paused on my old #Waterfalls video, there's better #video but, this is where I am ATM.

Down in #Liscomb area, Nova Scotia. To be exact, up the Liscomb River, one of the many waterfalls of interest.. You'll want to consult @halifaxtrails for detailed maps of the #Trail leading here.

So, can we trust the Port Authority, or Highways Department? # 7 Highway, Marine Drive, has no spelling of LISCOMBE, the name is #LISCOMB (No E), in every form.
The RESORT, Liscombe Lodge, uses an E on their name. Others may be using it based on who they see writing it.
Do you think Highways, whose job it is, to have signs for every community, got it wrong? #LOL
Here's 2 signs, back-to-back, identifying a tributary going under the highway.

The #Liscomb River #Waterfalls , (there's more than one)
This is the trailhead, with a bridge to cross to the other side, and return via a different trail.

It took 5 hours & we did *The Loop* of the #Trail.
One side of the trail was very rugged, lots of flooding, #hiking with wet feet. My wife is disabled, but made it. There's lots to see, plenty of Nature, amazing photos.. You should come?

#Liscomb Mills, Guysborough Co, N.S.

The Liscomb River trail is a rugged difficult hike, with many flooded spots. #WAYCTV
The reward for all this 9.6 km hike, is the largest #waterfalls at the trail head. But, on the return of the loop, you have different views, and discover additional waterfalls, & drops
Crooked Falls is 3-in-1 there's a Y in the river, Falls on each side; then a 2nd falls just after they meet.

In the 80s, I drove a car through much of these *woods roads*, then, two-lane logging roads, smoother than the # 7 highway.

O)vergrown to a single lane now, rougher to gain access, there's things you'll never see, along the well-traveled routes of Nova Scotia.
