My review of the first 3 eps of #OurFlagMeansDeath, Season 2:

A stunning start to the new season - sharp, incisive writing, new seeeexy and interesting characters, and absolutely earned character development for the old crew.

The show stays true to itself, keeps its heart and the romance and gets even better.

It is still absolutely hilarious but does not shy away from dark topics and its exploration of trauma and toxic masculinity.
