Double-duty Pixelfed post for #tbt and National #lighthouseday of Boston Harbor Lighthouse, the granddaddy of ‘em all, taken in the summer of 2000, when I had hair. Taken with a camera using actual film.

This was the first lighthouse I ever climbed, and it didn’t disappoint! The second-order Fresnel lens was beautiful, and the view of the skyline across the harbor was incredible. I am so glad I went when I did, because I don’t believe they have offered tours in recent years.
