Our kitchen has a display rack so I, um, put plates on it. It’s twee. I like it. It keeps my significant women close.

Bottom right: Grafton China plate from my Babcia’s house (Polish Grandma) where I spent a lot of time in the '70s.

Top: hand-painted Polish plate from a set given to me from my best woman, also Polish.

Bottom left: Mum displayed plates. This is one of hers. The deep colours and roses strongly evoke her for me.
