An alleged bank robbery suspect fatally shot himself after leading local police officers on a pursuit that ended on a dead end street in southeast Houston, officials said.

The suspect's vehicle was damaged during the pursuit and had a flat tire before it was involved in an accident with a League City patrol car. Another civilian vehicle was also involved in a traffic collision with the suspect's vehicle. No injuries were reported from that collision.
