A belated posting of my finished #LeafMaxi #WeekendSewingClub
For the #WeekendSewingClub, my #LeafMaxi update. Applying bias tape as part of the skirt hemming process.
Finally getting on with my #LeafMaxi! #WeekendSewingClub

So, as the #WeekendSewingClub is my witness, I'm going to try not to buy any fabric during January 2023.

I've got my #BrooksJeans to finish, a black concert top to make before the 15th, and the materials for a navy wool winter coat either already here or on the way. The #LeafMaxi is also cut out and ready to be sewn.

So I don't *NEED* any fabric :-)

Right... off to check my sales codes ;-)

This weekend's #WeekendSewingClub options:

Knit top(s), I have 3 cut out.
#LeafMaxi
Corduroy lined skirt (cut out last weekend).

The necessary haberdashery has arrived for both the skirt and the dress.

Cutting the #LeafMaxi out is almost complete, just need to do the bodice lining pieces. And while I do have enough of the leafy fabric to cut the lining in these, I prefer a contrast lining (makes it easier not to get mixed up!). This is in the post, so will get here when it gets here.
Laying out the pattern pieces on the #LeafMaxi
Time to start cutting out the #LeafMaxi. This bag contains an assortment of pattern pieces that are options in it!

@TheADHDHobbyist my upcoming makes should fit that tag :-)

They will be tagged with #ChristmasMaxi and #LeafMaxi.

If you have #Instagram, look up #DinosaurMaxi for a previous example.

Next #sewing project, my #ChristmasMaxi, from some fabric I bought for LAST Christmas! I need to make this up before I can make the #LeafMaxi, because it uses a lot of the same pattern pieces.
