Crowbar JonesThe silver aluminium frames don’t suit our colour scheme so we are testing out this masking paint so we can prime and spray the window frames white.
Should be better than cleaning spray paint off the windows 🤞🏻
Still working on this table top for Eleanor and the phrase “never again” to upcycle a hand carved piece keeps popping into mind.
Fitting the nipple tassels - no wait the ginkgo leaf cupboard handles….
Some routing trickery and voilà - modern blends into antique.
Next up - staining the bench top in Black Japan.
We usually get a little history on the pieces we source from people - this vintage table was brought over from the UK & much loved by the seller - who loves it but his girlfriend does not.
Hope they last - because we will modify it to fit the space.
Upcycling - new cabinets would look out of place in the caravan - so we sourced some old very pre-loved cabinets, sanded them back & painting them in the Eleanor signature colour before we install & give them matching new stained wood tops.
