On a sunny spring day, a small team participated in #LabourDoorstep in Magor, supporting Catherine Fookes' campaign for Labour MP in Monmouthshire. Joined by Cllr Henry Higgins and Bridie Sedgebeer, they took a rural walk, reaching several isolated properties, emphasizing the importance of every vote.

Today we were out doing #LabourDoorstep in my home ward, Dewstow Ward, Caldicot. This was for Catherine Fookes' election campaign to become Labour Party MP for Monmouthshire. We were only a small team. I was joined by John from Caerphilly and also Cllrs Angela Sandles and Henry Higgins from Severnside branch. It was right on my doorstep so not far too travel at all.

Today, we participated in #LabourDoorstep in Caerwent for Catherine Fookes' Labour Party campaign in Monmouthshire. Catherine, alongside Senedd Member Hannah Blythin and local Councillors Tony Easson and Henry Higgins, engaged with residents, enjoying positive interactions, particularly in the newly converted flats from the old military base.

Today I went out with a contingent of Severnside Labour branch to Denny View in Severn Ward, Caldicot for a #LabourDoorstep session, promoting Catherine Fookes who is the Labour Party candidate for MP in Monmouthshire at the general election. Present were Cllrs Angela Sandles, Maria Stevens (Severn Ward), Francis John Crook, Jacqui Strong, Henry Higgins, Peter Strong and Tony Easson plus myself.

Today, we conducted #LabourDoorstep in Undy, Monmouthshire, near Caldicot. Labour MP candidate Catherine Fookes joined us, along with MP Thangam Debbonaire and local councillors Frances John Crook and Angela Sandles. Despite some hills, the community warmly welcomed our team of political representatives.

I had already had a morning #labourdoorstep session in Chepstow and headed up to Monmouth on the long, yet beautiful, bus journey up the Wye Valley. I took some photos en route before I set out to work again. Today, I was out doing #labourdoorstep with Marg and Vanessa from Chepstow Labour Party Branch in a nice area where people were happy to engage and the general feeling was one for a change in government at the next #generalelection It is always fun going out with Vanessa as she is from South Africa and we always have banter over the rugby as I am a big All Blacks supporter, being half-kiwi and a New Zealand national.
