To explain #LSGOW - in the distant past I entered my friend Jonny's pub one evening clearly the worse for an afternoon of drinking. A server enquired what I wanted but Jonny quickly intervened. "I think what you meant to ask was, ¿Would you like a glass of water and have you tried the food that's on sale outside?" Customer welfare and staff training in one. That glass of water went on to become known as the Life-Saving Glass of Water.
