generally i don't get myself that worked up over game censorship, no matter how petty and conservative it gets, since you can always grab an older version or a less censored version on another platform if you know where to look. but the changes in the playstation version of LISA: Definitive are not only arbitrary when you account for all the other shit in these games, but they also deal with things that relate to core thematic and story elements of the games like substance abuse (particularly in Painful and Joyful).

do you think the demographic that sony has in mind are going to have their sensibilities appeased by changing what joy is but not have a problem with buddy's role in the story of Painful?

the good news is that it only seems to affect the playstation version at least. so avoid that one if you care.
