So, after reading all of Slam Dunk, catching up on Viz's release of Fist of the North Star, & reading that JoJo side-story manga... what am I in the mood for next? Amusingly enough, while I read, re-read, or re-watched various Masami Kurumada titles last year for #Kurumada50, I didn't touch RnK.

Plus, I actually never did a proper reading thread for a Kurumada manga here on Bluesky (all of my #Kurumada50 reading threads were done on Twitter), so it makes sense. I'll also read what little was fan translated in English, to compare the changes made (at least early on) in more detail.

New Review: Saint Seiya: Next Dimension (+ Saint Seiya Then) Was the 18-year irregular serialization worth it for the sequel to Masami Kurumada's biggest hit? It is more of the same, or does it break from tradition? How's the full-color art? All this & more as I end the #Kurumada50 celebration!

Today the Diagnosis: Filler for Saint Seiya's Asgard Chapter goes live. Looks like next week will then be the review for Saint Seiya: Next Dimension, which in turn will FINALLY bring an end to my #Kurumada50 celebration from last year. Kind of getting a feeling of "What do I do now?!"...

New month, so what's on the docket for March? I plan to finally finish by #Kurumada50 stuff with a review of Saint Seiya: Next Dimension, as well as the first Diagnosis: Filler piece for Seiya's Asgard Chapter As for non-Seiya stuff, I have a new Oh Me, Oh My, OVA! in the works. The theme for that?

The Vaizard review looks to be more or less done, just needs some proofreading before it goes live next week. So... I guess I should finally get back to Saint Seiya: Next Dimension, which I hope to fully read & have a review for done by the end of March. #Kurumada50 not quite over yet!

One of the last Masami Kurumada manga reviews for #Kurumada50 saw me tackle his first ever seinen manga, as well as the final manga of his original 20-year run with Shueisha. Since it's a piece of historical character drama it's actually rather a unique title in his catalog.

New Review: Akane-Iro no Kaze -Shinsengumi Keppu-ki- After leaving Shonen Jump, but before starting B't X, Masami Kurumada made a short-lived seinen manga about the Shinsengumi for Super Jump, with a subtitle that even Japan messes up. How'd it fare? Rather uniquely, that's how. #Kurumada50
