Preparing a class involving #Kepler's platonic solids model of the solar system. Decided it'd bring it more to life for the students to give not just the exact date but also day of the week when he had his epiphany while teaching. So looked up 9th July 1595, the date reported by #Koestler and many others since, to see what day of the week it was: a Sunday!

Well, that couldn't be right. Turns out it was in fact the 19th July 1595, a Wednesday.

The more I put into #teaching, the more I get out!
