Very nice time at the local Kodomo Shokudou! Great chats with three different families, and then with a pre-school teacher and a bunch of kids at the Saturday daycare center, AND a visit with KuriHimeGou Princess Chestnut the sweet mare that dances at the local festivals..

On Saturday at the Kids' (or Community) Cafeteria #子供食堂 I met a nice family and brought them home to meet the Silky Chickens. They might be able to take our extra birds and start their own egg-creating community. Just now I really look at their card and learn about "third places." Awesome to learn this through the #KodomoShokudou #ThirdPlace . Maybe my fascination with the local Free Night School and other initiatives comes from them serving as Third Places..
