‘Religion and the Decline of Magic’ by Keith Thomas is a classic, beautifully written study of magical belief in Renaissance England. Worth reading on its own merits, but hugely valuable to me as a fantasy worldbuilder.

Du coup, je me suis lancé sur #TheVigil de #KeithThomas, dont je n'attendais pas grand chose pour y aller en aveugle : l'histoire sur une nuit de la veillée d'un mort dans la communauté juive orthodoxe de Brooklyn.

Il se débrouille très bien avec son minimalisme, et il a le mérite d'être plus original que beaucoup de par son thème. Bonne surprise !
