15 novembre, al macro: keiichi tanaami

16MM RUN, la rassegna di cinema sperimentale in collaborazione con Villa Lontana, torna domani, venerdì 15 novembre, alle ore 19.00, con un appuntamento dedicato a Keiichi Tanaami (1936-2024), una delle figure più influenti della pop art giapponese, grazie alla sua capacità di fondere estetiche occidentali e orientali in modo innovativo e visionario. L’evento presenta per la prima volta a Roma una selezione dei cortometraggi animati dell’artista, da Marionettes in Masks (1968) a Chirico (2008), che uniscono elementi onirici, surreali e psichedelici. L’uso sperimentale del cinema d’animazione rappresenta un aspetto distintivo della carriera di Tanaami che per oltre sei decenni attraversa l’arte visiva, l’illustrazione, il design grafico, l’animazione e il cinema sperimentale.
