I don't enjoy most American fiction podcasts — you get at best a vague sense of place or environment, but nothing like the soundscaping work you get from most Radio 4 drama. This, like so many of Julian Simpson's work, is top-tier even for R4-grade drama.

There are a number of radio shows loosely based around this universe, some are available as podcast, but others can be found online elsewhere (YouTube etc).
