Out of all the many crazy things that have happened while I've been a journalist, that was definitely a surreal moment.
If only I could tell the little kid who was fascinated by breaking news, who sat as close as they could to the TV to watch Dateline, that they would grow up to be a journalist + booth the 10 o’clock news. <3
