Nearly 300 people arrested during Jeep Weekend on Bolivar Peninsula, sheriff’s office says

42 firearms were confiscated during the event that drew crowds of officers from more than 15 local law enforcement agencies this year. The arrests include at least 278 misdemeanor charges and 52 felony charges, according to the sheriff's office.
