French actor, director and screenwriter Jean-Louis Richard died at the age of 85 in Paris. Born in the 17th arrondissement, he worked across cinema as an actor and behind the camera as a writer and director. He contributed to several French productions and collaborated with major filmmakers throughout a long career in French cinema.
