#Honeybees #JapaneseBees . There is a big book on #AsianHoneyBees . The gist is that these bees are forest bees and collect pollen from a variety of flowers while the "Western" honey bees came from the African Savannah (? mabye? ) more of a a prairie, meadow type of environment and tend to be more efficient honey producers in level, open areas with less of a variety of flowers... I read somewhere that it was Europeans that brought the African Honeybee to Turtle Island and that the Native Americans, the indigenous people, called the Western Honeybee "white man's fly." ..
