Who does the news serve?

#Irishmedia needs much more #transparency about the interests of media owners, journalists, presenters, and interviewees.

Prof #EileenCulloty of #DublinCityUniversity challenges the double standards of Irish #oldmedia. They rightly denounce the failings of #newmedia, but repeatedly fail basic transparency tests. The #IvanYates scandal is only the tip of the iceberg.

Yates now adds "failed media coach" and "sacked podcaster" to his career as politician who quit when on cusp of being party leader, failed bookmaker, bankruptcy tourist, and unreliable pundit. #MultiTalentless 😂🤣
