Toni WestbrookWell, I removed all the SMD caps from my A4000. There was leakage under almost all of them, but 5 out of the 20 or so were so bad that the pads had already lifted. They all have vias nearby so it's not a huge deal, but Im just so irritated with myself for not doing this sooner. Well, damage is stopped at this point, will clean up pads while im waiting for new caps to come in. I know Im preaching to the choir, but recap your earlier 90s SMD caps, even if they dont look like they're leaking! Sometimes by the time electrolyte is spilling out onto the board your pads and traces are already eaten, not to mention the risk of shorting to a 12v rail or something.

With it being (one of the) bunny girl day(s), I wanted to have one of my OCs as a bunny girl to celebrate. Ended up with the OC Ballot winner of 2024 Hannah and I wanted to have it look like she was not happy to do this, like she lost a bet or she had to do this for a stealth mission. I think the expression became my favorite part XD

The PDP Media remote on PS4 gives a battery meter.
Well, I've been using that PDP remote on PS5 and yesterday it pops a notification the battery is low. All the code is there, they just didn't use it for the PS5 media remote!
