The proceeding comes over a year after U.S. District Judge Robert Pitman said in a groundbreaking, 91-page ruling that housing Texas prison inmates in sweltering facilities that lack air conditioning is “plainly unconstitutional.” Pitman declined last March to order the Texas Department of Justice to immediately install temporary or permanent air conditioning, instead forcing the plaintiffs to move towards a trial. At the time of the initial ruling, Marci Marie Simmons, who was previously incarcerated and is among the plaintiffs in the lawsuit, called the decision a win and said she hopes it pushes state lawmakers to fund prison air conditioning. “This is a federal judge saying Texas is unconstitutionally housing people in these dangerous and deadly temperatures,” Simmons said. “I cried. I cried for my people on the inside.”

Links between Kates and the late sex offender have previously been reported, but analysis of documents published by the US Department of Justice reveals a much deeper relationship than previously known, with emails showing Kates secretly took business advice from Epstein and discussed multimillion-dollar loans.

It's about a network of chat groups on #Telegram, where men chat about giving their girlfriends/wives some #drugs to make them pass out and then #rape them. *And* share videos/photos of that.

There is no indication that these are fakes.

From "what drugs do you recommend?" and "how much of drug X should I give her?" to "what do you want me to do with her once she's asleep?"

I think we (men) are lucky that women have much less of a tendency to be violent. Otherwise the world would be in flames right now.
