Why the once viral advice to change your voicemail greeting if you're lost is absolutely a bad idea

So I have a serious question.
My daughter is a single mom with a two-and-a-half year old son.
The biological father is not in the picture due to the fact that he was killed. Long story, but no honorable one.
While my daughter works, I’m a stay at home grandpa.
The issue is that my grandson is starting to call me “dad” and I’m not sure what to do about it.
It feels uncomfortable to let him call me that. But I’m not sure how to correct it. My partner he calls grandma, but me dad.
