So I recently treated myself to a modern day, true flex pen that I have shown some of my hobby, interested friends.
Magna Carta is a company based in India that did a lot of research into the frankly lost craft of making proper flex nibs like what they had in the 1920s and 30s.
Goldspot pens in the state of New Jersey, had a as of this writing, limited run of 30 of these bodies created.
I also got a bottle of Pelikcan Edelstein Moonstone and most recently acquired a bottle of Platinum Classic Citrus Black, which is an iron gall based ink. It oxidizes when put down on the page and turns blackened. Very neat to watch it happen in real time. Not exactly golden, but it is Durrnly Themed. π
