I have working support for using #ubuntu server images with #ImageGarden and not just one but any CPU architecture as well.
Need a ppc64le or s390x to test something?
I've released #ImageGarden 0.3 earlier today: https://gitlab.com/zygoon/image-garden/-/releases/v0.3
The snap package is already up-to-date. Updates to classic packages are coming shortly.
Highlights are support for Fedora 42 and Ubuntu 25.10
Given that it's somewhat hard to tell users about new features, I've added a new command to my image-garden project. The "image-garden news" command shows what's new in the latest release (or latest few) releases of the project.
You can now get #ImageGarden as a snap: https://snapcraft.io/image-garden
This should make it easier to get into full-system testing with spread without any complex local setup.
Version 0.2.2 is currently baking and should hit the stable channel soon. If you use give it a try please leave some feedback.
You can try it out with: https://gitlab.com/apparmor/apparmor/-/merge_requests/1588
I've tagged #ImageGarden 0.2 last night and today morning I can see a freshly baked release, ready to be used https://gitlab.com/zygoon/image-garden/-/releases/v0.2
See the page above for the changelog! You can use image garden to facilitate full system testing, either with custom logic or using the "spread" tool.
Thanks to the 1st contribution to #ImageGarden you can now spin up test instances of Amazon Linux 2023.

A new release will happen over the weekend once I complete the milestone goal of setting up CI/CD with aarch64 systems.
