#WierdCarMastodon friends talking about vans got me to thinking about VW: what's going on with the electric ID.Buzz? It is really out of production? Stevens Creek VW, AFAIK, the largest VW dealer in California, has 15, with $10,500 discounts. Local dealer Coachella VW has 13. I think they're cool, and we now see them relatively often out here in the SoCal desert.

There aren't many ID Buzz vans out there, but two on the same job is a real slim wager.
Ich würde gerne einen 7-Sitzer ID.Buzz (oder einen anderen elektrischen 7-9 Sitzer) im April in Karlsruhe mieten. Entweder bin ich blind und finde nichts, oder das gibts nicht. Stadtmobil habe ich geschaut, gibts nicht.
Ich will auf keinen Fall einen Öltimer fahren müssen....

#idbuzz gefloppt. Oh Wunder! Ein Plastikteil für 55.000 €, Ausstattungsmerkmale als "personengebundene Dienstleistung" -du verkaufst ihn weiter und die Standheizung bleibt aber dein Eigentum!
Interessant für mich als Familienvater aber BITTE? Ich als Angestellter Arzt darf dann 4 Jahre abbezahlen und von trocken Brot leben? Gleichzeitig werden leistungsstärkere Batteriesysteme angekündigt und ganz ehrlich: wäre der Bus nichts für #Wasserstoff gewesen?
Mit der Studie ID Buzz weckte Volkswagen 2017 große Erwartungen. Der elektrische Bulli sollte an frühere Erfolge anknüpfen und den US-Markt erobern. Ende 2025 fällt die Bilanz jedoch ernüchternd aus, jetzt bestätigt VW das Ende.
