An excellent debut espionage novel from a former operations officer set mainly in Bahrain but with a diversion to Cambodia, neither of which I have been to or even maybe want to go, but enjoyed reading about them. It feels realistic, is cynical and labyrinthine, which is how I like my spy fiction. Look forward to more novels from this writer.
