Solo tracks are an opportunity to create an identity outside of the group. This is especially important when leaving.

After #Dawn (formerly E’Dawn of #PENTAGON and #TripleH ) was fired from CUBE over a dating scandal, he did exactly that with DAWNDIDIDAWN.

It wasn’t his first release since he left, nor the first as Dawn, but it makes it very clear: he is Dawn now.

So fun fact: #Sunmi, former member of #WonderGirls has come forward as having #BorderlinePersonalityDisorder. (Like me!   )

Obviously, having BPD is not necessary to appreciate and relate to her music or enjoy her videos.

Her most recent MV, STRANGER, has some of the dark humor that I’ve come to associate with her videos, even if it’s not in all of them. (See also: Siren and Tail.) I could probably talk about the themes all day.

Hey, guess who isn’t done with #KPopMonday #ImGoingSolo yet.  

During #VIXX’s hiatus, Hyuk was not an idle idol: he was honing his craft as a composer and singer. I’ll probably talk more on that later.

Anyway, all that work paid off, if you ask me. This song wasn’t just performed by him. He also wrote the lyrics, produced it, and was part of the two person team that composed and arranged it.
