Borderline bei Männern, bzw. männlich gelesenen Personen

Immer noch ist die Vorstellung verbreitet, Borderline betreffe ausschließlich (junge) Frauen und mit 25 sei dann, ich spitze etwas zu, eh alles ausgeheilt und gut.

Das geht an der Wirklichkeit vorbei: Borderline kann Menschen über Jahrzehnte begleiten, aber vor allem, Boderline kann auch Männer, bzw. männlich gelesene Personen über Jahrzehnte prägen.

Mein 'kleiner', mittlerweile aber auch schon Ende 40, Bruder macht da Aufklärungsarbeit, ich finde ihn unfassbar mutig. Zugleich ist da Scham, ihm in Kindheitstagen nicht geholfen, nicht auf ihn aufgepasst zu haben, ihm kein guter 'großer Bruder' gewesen zu sein.

Die Süddeutsche Zeitung hat meinen Bruder gestern auf Seite 3 portraitiert.
