Day four of this head cold and with the exception of some brief drop off/pick up type errands this morning I have not left the house. And that's why I decided to try baking moon cakes for the first time.

Recipe is "Honey Pistachio Mooncakes" from Mooncakes & Milk Bread by Kristina Cho.

I don't have a mold. I'm painfully white. Like, I have a backup jar of Hellmann's mayo in the pantry at all times. I grew up believing that Bell peppers were spicy.

Anyway.

12 bunnies entered the oven, 9 came out in a kinda acceptable state. Those are going to hang out in an airtight container for a day or so.

The broken one I ate tasted good. I have a helluva lot to learn.
