Even though I’m not a coder (#IANAC), I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this episode during which @siracusa, @caseyliss, and @marcoarment shared grounded insight about coding practices in diverse work environments. (Mostly John and Casey. Marco is such a good sport… and shared valuable knowledge about PHP.)

It’s a really good case for #MembersOnlyContent. And I wish many junior coders will listen.

I've only glanced at OMEMO myself but from what little I've seen it looks promising.

#IANAC (I am not a cryptographer) but I've studied enough to know secure protocols are hard. Even brilliant people who devote their careers to protocol development get it wrong a lot of the time. Therefore we want open protocols subjected to a lot of scrutiny, which takes time.
