The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Peter Szijjártó, paid a visit to China, where he intends to discuss, in particular, the war in Ukraine and Beijing's "peace plan". "Our neighbor is at war, Europe is gripped by war psychosis, so peacemaking efforts are of particular importance, which must be constantly strengthened. We support the peace plan proposed by China for two reasons: on the one hand, because it is about peace, and on the other side, because it exists. Finally, something that does not concern the continuation of the war, but its termination," the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary said on his Facebook page. Szijjártó also noted that Budapest does not want relations between Europe and Beijing to worsen and sees China as "a country with which cooperation means huge opportunities."
