So I want to think the website is as done as it's going to be for a little bit, maybe save a few tweaks....now how do I post? Do I just make a whole new page? Should I use a folder for pages for posts? Still very new at this.

A new problem I'm having with one specific page.
I'll edit this page, and view it. It will display correctly with the same text as every other page, but navigating back to it, the font and colors will reset.
Not sure how or why this happens. Help is appreciated!
Thinking again on learning enough HTML to pass making a neocities site has been pretty rewarding so far, but I cannot stress enough that I have to be in "focus and problem solving" mode, which is sometimes not easy to be in, or stay in. (ADHD WOOOO)

, and the neocities reddit have been great wells of knowledge for things that I know are simple, but still struggling with so far.
That being said. I fixed all the links from opening new tabs, THEN I set up a comment for myself in the future so I don't make the same mistake!
I'm liking this a lot so far, and even if I did have to rebuild my artist website, it suddenly doesn't feel so out of reach....

having some troubles with buttons always opening new tabs, but I have the _blank correct, don't I?
I have to stop underestimating the power of refreshing the page.
Hm...I'm having some trouble understanding how to change the font of my website right now.
I feel like everything should be working according to some reddit posts, but I must be missing something.
Help appreciated!
Ooooooh! Feeling like I banged out the about section pretty well

Alright. I don't know what's going on anymore. One page just won't link to the others in a "403 forbidden" error. all the code and html looks fine.
So far I'm enjoying the learning curve of learning a little bit of html, but the learning began a bit steep. Learning a bit of html, and understanding the format are very important, not necessarily for writing the code, but reading it. I don't remember using the w3school tutorials, it was something else, but it's important to find one that suits your learning style the best. Don't be afraid to try a couple, ditch and come back as needed.
If you're using the stock neocities editor, it's important to keep a separate window open as a point of reference to where things are and moving back and fourth to have a visual representation of the changes you made.
I feel like my aphantasia does kinda start to effect how I'm doing this. Reading the HTML and understanding it through the sadgirl layout generator notes in the code are great. They are clear and concise, maybe an adhd thing, I had to really push myself to actually read the notes.
Take time. Pay attention. "Lock in", as they say.
This layout builder is great!

and using this for finding colors and harmonies for the website

I feel like I'm making a lot of progress for the past few days, and the more time I spend with it, the more I feel comfortable navigating and editing.
ooooo, yes. linking the pages together for nav!
