❗️Georgia's ruling party announced the start of impeachment proceedings against President Salome Zurabishvili. The reason for this was her foreign trips, which were not approved by the government, as required by the Georgian Constitution. Earlier, Zurabishvili had planned a tour of Europe to support the country's bid for EU membership.
