We have the ability, in this country, to provide some of the best health care in the world. Research is top notch. What we don't have is access. Our system is broken and there seems to be no one with enough gravitas to force us to fix it. Our insurance and payment system rewards doctors for procedures done, not for promotimg health and treating diseases which are disabling and killing people. We have the technology, but we don't have the will. #healthcareisarightnotaprivilege

@FranckLeroy @Hempressemilym 1. The US does NOT fine people who don’t have insurance. SCOTUS eliminated it. 2. Medicare is NOT open to all. 3. You choose your doctor from a network of doctors that greedy corporations “hired” for you. 4. Selecting the least terrible plan is annual, confusing, and time intensive. 5. One government system would require most doctors to work within it. The network would be much larger. #HealthcareIsARightNotAPrivilege
